While looking (unsuccessfully) for the Hooded Merganser at Stash and Store pond, two GREEN-WINGED TEAL drakes paddled around the corner to join the two pairs of MALLARDS, half of which were divers. One Teal was appreciably smaller than his companion.
As it's pretty late for the Teal, I'm hoping they'll stick around for the December 16 Seward Christmas Bird Count. More on that later!
