Seward, Alaska
After a long wait through weeks of bitter cold, snow, ice, strong winds, then a deluge of cold rain, the Seward Electric linemen seized the day.
I was very pleased to watch them reuse bird diverters salvaged from the Lagoon power lines on the east-west power lines along the Waterfront where the BALD EAGLE died on December 27. Now, hopefully, Eagles will see those lines on gray flat-light days.
Thank you to the Seward Electric Department and crew!
Happy Birding!
