Seward, Alaska
Just for the record in case you missed it on eBird:
Phenomenal birders Brad Benter and Scott Schuette whizzed down to Seward on Friday. After 3 hours and 49 minutes of serious birding that included driving 33.4 miles, they tallied 38 species.
YES, they found the PIED-BILLED GREBE.
Highlights for me included:
24 TRUMPETER SWANS
1 GREEN-WINGED TEAL
25 ROCK SANDPIPERS
12 MARBLED MURRELETS
1 HERMIT THRUSH with 25 ROBINS
I'm still looking for that Hermit Thrush and several others.
Good job!
Happy Birding!
